Gas . The villa is serviced with gas for the hot water ( instantaneous) and heating . These cylinders are situated in a cupboard down by the vehicle gate . We always make sure there is plenty of gas for our guests however if there is no hot water and there is a f28 fault on the boiler( situated behind aluminum shutter in kitchen)  it means that the gas bottles used are empty and a switch needs to be turned over to the new bottles. This shouldn’t happen during your stay buy please ring us if it does.  

There are also smaller gas cylinders used for the plancha and pizza oven and gas paella ring in the summer kitchen. If these run out there is a spare cylinder kept in the grey cupboard behind the summer kitchen. If you are not  confident to change it over please ring us and we will get this organized.

Electric .Each house only has a 3KW supply so power can trip with heavy loads. In the  event of power tripping first go to the fuse board behind the front door in the sitting room and check the trips. It may be necessary to turn MCBs off and then turn back on . Please note the lights for the swimming pool are controlled only by the mcb ( marked pool) so if you are turning back on leave this MCB off.

Heating and aircon units . Central heating ( situated behind aluminum shutter in the kitchen) is the central heating boiler. If you require the radiators there is a time clock with a  three position switch. Normal position ( off) is middle , push down to turn the central heating on , back to middle position for  off.

There are air con units in each bedroom which can be used for hot or cold . For cooling they work immediately , if they are being used for heating the units can take up to 10 minutes to start emitting heat. Mick or Lydia will show you how to use these when you arrive. Do not use them with windows open. Please do not leave these units running when not in the room .There is an automatic turn off if this happens accidently due to extremely expensive running costs

Electric Fans. The electric ceiling fans are turned on either by switches on the bank of light switches or by remotes which are situated by the lighting switches. Again please use these for your comfort but turn off when not in use.
